About Me

Hello my name is Lindsey Dean and I am 22 years old. I am Senior at NKU currently working towards my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. I have been dancing for 10 years and have studied Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, African, Modern, and Hip Hop. I have been able to participate in several performances over the years including the Cincinnati Ballet’s The Nutcracker, the School of the Arts “Dance Fest” (2020) hosted by Big Muddy dance Company in St. Louis, Missouri, as well the Emerging Choreographer Showcases and annual dance concerts through NKU. In 2022 I worked as a featured dancer on “Pivot,” a short film produced in Cincinnati. I was also given the opportunity to choreograph and perform a dance for author John Maclean on his book tour for “Home Waters.”

I currently work at the Dance Center Independence, Kentucky as a dance teacher for young children. I love helping young kids find their passion.
